Friends and family,
We have a few prayer requests in this journey we'd like to pass along. Being on oxygen 100% of the time has become quite a task. My dad has had issues with his portable equipment that allows him to be able to leave the house and has had the techs from the oxygen company out to the house numerous times trying to fix the problem. They thought the problem was fixed, however the equipment seems to keep having issues for my dad. They thought it was a pressure issue with the liquid oxygen, but fixing that didn't help either. His equipment for the day to day moving around the house seems to be doing okay, but the portable unit, not so much. It boils down to him not having had the correct amounts of oxygen the past few weeks! We certainly can't have him out and about with unreliable equipment and a lack of oxygen. So please pray that whatever the problem is, that it will be resolved soon.
Also, as some of you may or may not know, another hurdle my dad has dealt with recently was having some aggressive skin cancer removed about a week and a half ago. He had most of his stitches removed yesterday and he reports back to the oncologist on Thursday. Please pray that they find no more cancer anywhere else in his body. I seem to think he has enough on his plate, but God would never give him more than he could handle.
The pager is working out nicely. Know that when you page him, he stops and says a prayer for whoever just paged him even if he can't figure out who it was.
