Friends and Family,
Hope each of you are doing well. I want to give you a prayer request for a friend named Paul Sheridan. I met Paul about 2 years ago through a mutual friend from Sheridan House Family Ministries.
Paul is currently #2 on the lung transplant list at the Mayo Clinic as he is down to 9% lung function. He moved to Jacksonville several months ago in anticipation of being approved for transplant.
As you would pray, please pray specifically for the family who will loose a loved one through some tragedy, the team of doctors and staff who will perform the surgery, as well for Paul and his family and that it is all in God's will and timing.
As Debbie and I shared with Timothy's (our donor) mom almost 2 & 1/2 years ago upon meeting her, it's amazing to think that through transplant, my life was extended here on earth through her son's tragic death, but that through God's son death on the cross, we all have the opportunity for eternal life in Heaven. I spoke to Paul yesterday and prayed with him and then today he called today to update me how he had been moved up to #2 and as well to call and say thank you for our support and prayers we have given him. Paul is a man of faith and was excited to pray for me at the end of our conversation today. Very special time.
